. in fact, even in northwest washington, it looks like we are not seeing snow but we continue to see snow in prince george's county, fairfax county, waldorf, out in that region. off across the chesapeake bay as well. let's get to view. we'll show you the big picture. here is your storm system. you can see the back edge of that system will be coming through here shortly. however, i do think we have the chance of getting a little more snow filling in. not a lot but a little more. and than it moves out of here. you will see the snow cease to the west first and the eastern portions of the area will be the last to get the snow out of here as it is moving west to east. current tperatures around the region, these are key. 32degrees in d.c. 30 in annapolis. 32 in stevens vipdville and in leonardtown. out to the west, our temperatures are in the 20s. far ut to the west, check it out, beckly, west virginia, eight degrees. those are the areas where they will get more snowfall. some of those regions under a winter storm warning. for us, count usc in blue under a winter weather advisory until 8:0

gaithersburg. 30 in washington. manassas, it is as cold, 19 degrees there. 26 in baltimore. 25 in spread rickburg. frederick, maryland at 25 degrees at this hour. here is a look at the satellite- radar for the mid-atlantic region. we do have clouds moving through the reason on during the course of the day today. i don't think we'll see as much sunshine but still it won't be a completely cloudy day either. you see that boundary out to the west. there are a few spots of precipitation in kentucky. now, a look at your futurecast for today into sunday. again, a few clouds stream through today. no moisture. there is that precipitation associated with that frontal boundary and then by sunday morning, rain comes in. now, in some spots, if it is cold enough, this could start as freezing rain and sleet but we think that will be well to the north and west of the city. this is all showing up as rain on the futurecast. some of it fairly heavy rain so during the course of the day on sunday, i think it will be a farley drenching rain. by monday morning, we start to get the precipitation out of here alt

-- there are some school delays in western maryland and west virginia but not around the washington area. we'll see partly sunny skies for your bus stop forecast. really cold out there with the temperature in the low and mid- 20s. sunrise this morning is at 7:27. current temperatures around the region, yeah, read it and weep. we are still in the 20s. 23 at dulles. 22 in winchester. 4degrees in annapolis. 23 in baltimore and here in the district, we are at 24 degrees. another cold day although i think our high today will be a couple of degrees hietder than what we have seen -- higher than what wave seen recently. the current sustained winds, 13 miles per hour in washington. 16 at dulles. eight in baltimore. three in fredericksburg. that is giving us wind chills generally in the 10 to 15- degree range early this morning so a very cold start to the day. satellite-radar composite for the region, now, we said partly sunny skies this morning and we'll hold true to that. there are some clouds working their way in here but the bulk of the cloud cover will come in later today. out in extreme weer

that way? >> oh, you know. >> yeah, you got it. here in washington, no problems at this hour. but off to the south and west, we have our developing storm system. it will be making a trek generally towards the mid- atlantic. it will kind of brush us and our temperatures will be kind of marginal to support a lot of renter weather. but nevertheless, we have a winter storm watch that will go into effect tonight nto tomorrow for areas off to the north and west of the city. we are expecting accumulating snow and some freezing rain. the counties in white, a winter storm warning, that includes places like charlottesville that. goes into effect tonight into the daytime hours tomorrow. currently, our temperatures are getting chilly. 4 here in washington. winds are out out -- out of the northeast at nine miles per hour. just increasing clouds today. the morning and evening commute should be just fine. but as we greet into the nighttime hours, we'll see rnfaland that will slowly transition here in washington over to the wintry mix tomorrow morning. >> thank you. >>> let's say good morning to juli
